Bible Lesson: Conversations With
Jesus: Belief Versus Disbelief.
Bible Text:
John
12:44-50 KJV
44
Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on Me, believeth not on Me,
but on Him that sent Me.
45
And he that seeth Me seeth Him that sent Me.
46 I
am come A Light into the world, that whosoever believeth on Me
should not abide in darkness.
47
And if any man hear My Words, and believe not, I judge him not: for
I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
48
He that rejecteth Me, and receiveth not My Words, hath One that
judgeth him: The Word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in
the last day.
49
For I have not spoken of Myself; but The Father which sent Me, He
gave Me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50
And I know that His commandment is Life everlasting: whatsoever I
speak therefore, even as The Father said unto Me, so I speak.
Jesus spoke to everyone in the temple, telling them that He and The
Father were one.
He that believed on The Lord, believed on The Father, that sent Him.
The
Lord had “come A Light into the world, that whosoever
believeth on (Him)
should not abide in darkness'. The Lord Jesus, is The
Light Of The World. His Light reveals God's love for all humanity,
and His way of salvation, through His Savior Son, The Lord Jesus.
Jesus warned those who rejected Him, and His Word...
John
12:48 KJV
He
that rejecteth Me, and receiveth not My Words, hath One that judgeth
him: The Word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the
last day.
The Father and Son's will are identical...
II
Peter 3:9 KJV
The
Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count
slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward not willing that any
should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
The Lord Jesus, had not come to judge the world, but to draw all men
unto Himself, that they might be saved.
Luke
2:11 KJV
For
unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is
Christ The Lord.
I
John 4:14 KJV
And
we have seen and do testify that The Father sent The Son to be The
Savior Of The World.
Those who reject The Word Of God, reject The Lord Jesus Christ, who
is The Word Of The Father.
John
1:1 KJV
1 In
the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word
was God.
2
The same was in the beginning with God.
3
All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made
that was made.
4 In
Him was Life; and The Life was The Light Of Men.
5
And The Light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it
not.
6
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7
The same came for a witness, to bear witness of The Light that all
men through Him might believe.
8 He
was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9
That was The True Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into
the world.
10
He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world
knew Him not.
11
He came unto His own, and His own received Him not.
12
But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons
of God, even to them that believe on His name:
13
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of
the will of man, but of God.
And
The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory,
the glory as The Only Begotten Of The Father, full of grace and
Truth.
John
14:6 KJV
Jesus
saith unto him (Thomas),
I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life: no man cometh unto The Father,
but by Me.
John
3:16-21 KJV
16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting
Life.
17
For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but
that the world through Him might be saved.
18
He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not
is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of The
Only Begotten Son Of God.
19
And this is the condemnation, that Light is come into the world, and
men loved darkness rather than Light, because their deeds were evil.
20
For every one that doeth evil hateth The Light, neither cometh to The
Light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21
But he that doeth Truth cometh to The Light, that his deeds may be
made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Those who believe in The Lord Jesus, as Savior, must confess Him.
Romans
10:10,11 KJV
For
with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation.
11
for the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be
ashamed.
Luke
23:39-43 NLT (Calvary)
39
One of the criminals hanging beside Him scoffed, “So you're The
Messiah, are you? Prove it by saving yourself – and us, too, while
you're at it!
40
But the other criminal protested, “Don't you fear God even when you
are dying?
41
We deserve to die for our evil deeds, but this man hasn't done
anything wrong.
42
Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.”
43
And Jesus replied, “I assure you, today you will be with Me in
paradise.”
Prayer:
Matthew
10:32 KJV
Everyone
who acknowledges Me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge
before My Father in heaven.
Mark 16:16 KJV
He that believeth and is baptized
(Public Confession Of Faith)
shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
John 6:37,40,47 KJV
37 “...him that cometh to Me I
will in no wise cast out.”
40 And this is the will of Him that
sent Me, that every one which seeth The Son, and believeth on Him,
may have everlasting Life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that believeth on Me hath everlasting Life.
