 Bible Questions Answered:
I want to choose the right way how do I keep from making all the wrong choices?...”

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

Man, alone is not capable of making all the right choices in life!  Only when we turn our lives over to The Lord, are we guided by His Spirit, into the paths of righteousness and life.

The Word, Choices:

Joshua 24:15 KJV
And if it seem evil unto you to serve The Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve The Lord.

Psalm 25:4 KJV
Shew me Thy ways, O Lord; teach me Thy paths.

Psalm 86:11 KJV
Teach me Thy way, O Lord; I will walk in Thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

Proverbs 3:5,6 NLT
5 Trust in The Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.
6 Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.

Proverbs 4:5 KJV
Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.

Proverbs 13:12-18 NLT
12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.
13 People who despise advice are asking for trouble; those who respect a command will succeed.
14 The instruction of the wise is like a life-giving fountain; those who accept it avoid the snares of death.
15 A person with good sense is respected; a treacherous person is headed for destruction.
16 Wise people think before they act; fools don’t—and even brag about their foolishness.
17 An unreliable messenger stumbles into trouble, but a reliable messenger brings healing.
18 If you ignore criticism, you will end in poverty and disgrace; if you accept correction, you will be honored.

Acts 14:22 NLT
where they strengthened the believers. They encouraged them to continue in the faith, reminding them that we must suffer many hardships to enter the Kingdom of God.

II Corinthians 1:17-19 NLT
17 You may be asking why I changed my plan. Do you think I make my plans carelessly? Do you think I am like people of the world who say “Yes” when they really mean “No”?
18 As surely as God is faithful, our word to you does not waver between “Yes” and “No.”
19 For Jesus Christ, The Son Of God, does not waver between “Yes” and “No.” He is The One whom Silas, Timothy, and I preached to you, and as God’s ultimate “Yes,” He always does what He says.

Galatians 6:5-18 NLT
5 For we are each responsible for our own conduct.
6 Those who are taught The Word Of God should provide for their teachers, sharing all good things with them.
7 Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.
8 Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please The Spirit will harvest everlasting life from The Spirit. 9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
10 Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.

Paul’s Final Advice

11 Notice what large letters i use as i write these closing words in my own handwriting.
12 Those who are trying to force you to be circumcised want to look good to others. They don’t want to be persecuted for teaching that The Cross Of Christ alone can save.
13 And even those who advocate circumcision don’t keep the whole law themselves. They only want you to be circumcised so they can boast about it and claim you as their disciples.
14 As for me, may I never boast about anything except The Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world’s interest in me has also died.
15 It doesn’t matter whether we have been circumcised or not. What counts is whether we have been transformed into a new creation.
16 May God’s peace and mercy be upon all who live by this principle; they are the new people of God.
17 From now on, don’t let anyone trouble me with these things. For I bear on my body the scars that show I belong to Jesus.
18 Dear brothers and sisters, may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

Philippians 4:6,7 NLT
6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.
7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 2:6,7 NLT
6 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow Him.
7 Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
II Timothy 3:14 NLT
But you must remain faithful to the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know you can trust those who taught you.

James 1:12 NLT
God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.

I Peter 5:1-10 KJV
1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
3 Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock.
4 And when The Chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world
10 But The God Of All Grace, who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

II Peter 3:17 NLT
You already know these things, dear friends. So be on guard; then you will not be carried away by the errors of these wicked people and lose your own secure footing.

II John 1:8 NLT
Watch out that you do not lose what we[e] have worked so hard to achieve. Be diligent so that you receive your full reward.

Revelation 2:10 KJV
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Prayer:

Proverbs 18:15 KJV
The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.
