why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at naught thy
brother? for we shall all stand before The Judgment Seat Of
Christ.
II Corinthians 5:10 KJV
For
we must all appear before The Judgment Seat Of Christ; that
every one may receive the things done in his body, according
to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Christian people, will never come into condemnation, but
will stand one day before God to answer for the Christian deeds they
have done. This has come to be called “the Bema Seat.”
Romans
8:1 KJV
There
is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the flesh, but after The Spirit.
I Corinthians 3:1-23 NLT (Paul and Apollos,

Dear brothers and sisters, when I was with you I couldn’t talk to
you as I would to spiritual people. I had to talk as though you
belonged to this world or as though you were infants in Christ.

I had to feed you with milk, not with solid food, because you weren’t
ready for anything stronger. And you still aren’t ready,

for you are still controlled by your sinful nature. You are jealous
of one another and quarrel with each other. Doesn’t that prove you
are controlled by your sinful nature? Aren’t you living like people
of the world?

When one of you says, “I am a follower of Paul,” and another
says, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you acting just like people of
the world?

After all, who is Apollos? Who is Paul? We are only God’s servants
through whom you believed The Good News. Each of us did the work The
Lord gave us.

I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was
God who made it grow.

It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering.
What’s important is that God makes the seed grow.

The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same
purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work.

For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are
God’s building.

Because of God’s grace to me, I have laid the foundation like an
expert builder. Now others are building on it. But whoever is
building on this foundation must be very careful.
11
For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already
have—Jesus Christ.
12 Anyone who builds on that foundation may use a
variety of materials—gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay, or straw.
13 But on the judgment day, fire will reveal what
kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person’s
work has any value.
14 If the work survives, that builder will receive a
reward.

But if the work is burned up, the builder will suffer great loss.
The builder will be saved, but like
someone barely escaping through a wall of flames.
King James Version versus 13-15
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the
day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the
fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14 If any man's work abide which he hath built
thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer
loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God
and that The Spirit Of God lives in you?

God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God’s temple
is holy, and you are that temple.

Stop deceiving yourselves. If you think you are wise by this world’s
standards, you need to become a fool to be truly wise.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As the Scriptures
say, “He traps the wise in the snare of their own cleverness.”

And again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise; He knows they
are worthless.”

So don’t boast about following a particular human leader. For
everything belongs to you—

whether Paul or Apollos or Peter, or the world, or life and death, or
the present and the future. Everything belongs to you,

and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.
In the Apostles day, athletic games were held much like
our Olympics. The winners of such games came before the emperor to
receive their rewards. Rewards consisted of leaves woven into a
crown, designating them as being a winner, for they wore the victor's
crown, for all to see.
In this Christian Judgment Seat, Christians will be
tried for their good works, not their salvation!
Jeremiah
17:9,10 NLT9 “The
human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately
wicked. Who really knows how bad it is?

But I, The Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives.
I
give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions
deserve.”
Did they do their good works....
- To be seen of men, and to receive their honor and respect?
- To show someone else up? “Hey, look I can do better than that!”
- “I gave all that money, because I wanted controlling interest, elected a deacon, etc...”
- “I took that ministry position, because of all that money and popularity!”
- “I prayed for all those people, because I thought they would bless me with money!”
- “Yes, I helped the neighbors next door, because I wanted to buy their house cheap.”
- Etc. etc. etc. What is being tested here are MOTIVES.
Revelation
21:27 KJV
And
there shall in no wise enter into it (Heaven)
any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or
maketh a lie..."
Yes
you did good things, but why did you do them? If it wasn't out of
the heart, in Godly love and service, it was by personal
aggrandizement, and if by such, will loose any
reward!
