guy I work with says that the church I am going to is a false
religion. I thought a church is a church. They all seem real friendly
and talk about God...”

Beware
of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but
inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Our
Lord warned time and time again against false teachers. Some today
will tell you “Yes, we believe in Jesus Christ!” But that is not
all, if you were to ask and who is He, they would respond, “why he
is the brother to Lucifer,” and they believe in many gods.
One of
the first marks of a false church is what they believe about Jesus
Christ.
- Is He The Eternal Son of an Eternal Father?
- Did He come in the flesh?
- Was He virgin born?
- Did He die on a cross?
- Does His blood, atone for the sins of all those who claim Him as Savior?
- Did He rise from the dead, on the third day?
- Was He seen after His death?
If
they don't believe these things, run, don't walk out of this place.

revelations they or others have had.
