Bible Text:
Matthew 27:41 KJV
Likewise also the chief priests
mocking* Him, with the scribes and elders, said,
*Mocking-Greek:
Empaizo (Emp-aheed-zo): To
jeer, to deride, mock.
Mark 15:31 KJV
Likewise also the chief priests
mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved
others; Himself He cannot save.
Acts 2:13 KJV
Others mocking said, These
men are full of new wine.
Our precious
Savior, knew only too well what it was like to be mocked, and made a
mockery of.
Jude tell us that
mockery is definitely a sign of the last days. And Jude goes
on to tell us what we as Christian people, should do!
Jude 1:17-21 KJV
17 But, beloved, remember ye the
words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus
Christ;
18 How that they told you there
should be mockers in the last time, who should walk
after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate
themselves, sensual, having not The Spirit.
20 But ye, beloved, building up
yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in The Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of
God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal
life.
1) “building up yourselves
on your most holy faith, praying in The Holy Ghost”
2) “Keep yourselves in the
love of God”
3) “looking for the mercy
of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.”
Matthew 10:24-28
KJV
24 The disciple is not above his
Master, nor the servant above his Lord.
25 It is enough for the disciple
that he be as his Master, and the servant as his Lord. If they have
called The Master Of The House Beelzebub, how much more shall they
call them of His household?
26 Fear them not therefore: for
there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that
shall not be known.
27 What I tell you in darkness, that
speak ye in Light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach
ye upon the housetops.
28 And fear not them which kill the
body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is
able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Psalm 14:1 KJV
The fool hath said in his heart,
There is no God..."
I Corinthians
1:18-21 KJV
18 For the preaching of the cross is
to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is
the power of God.
19 For it is written, I will destroy
the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding
of the prudent.
20 Where is the wise? where is the
scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made
foolish the wisdom of this world?
21 For after that in the wisdom of
God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the
foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
Deuteronomy 31:6
KJV
Be strong and of a good courage,
fear not, nor be afraid of them: for The Lord thy God, He it is that
doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
