want to come to God, but I got some things I need to do before...”

Bible Texts:
Ecclesiastes
7:20 KJV
For
there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
Isaiah
64:6 KJV
But
we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as
filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities,
like the wind, have taken us away.
Matthew
5:20 KJV
For
I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the
righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter
into the kingdom of heaven.
John
1:12,13 KJV
12
But as many as received Him (The
Lord Jesus Christ), to them gave He power to become the
sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:
13
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of
the will of man, but of God.
John
3:18 NLT
“There
is no judgment against anyone who believes in Him (The
Lord Jesus). But anyone who does not believe in Him has
already been judged for not believing in God’s One And Only Son.
John
6:63 NLT
The
Spirit alone gives eternal Life. Human effort accomplishes nothing.
And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and Life.
Acts
13:39 NLT
Everyone
who believes in Him is made right in God’s sight—something the
law of Moses could never do.
Romans
3:19-24 NLT
19
Obviously, the law applies to those to whom it was given, for its
purpose is to keep people from having excuses, and to show that the
entire world is guilty before God.
20
For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law
commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.
(Christ Took Our Punishment)
21
But now God has shown us a way to be made right with Him without
keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings
of Moses and the prophets long ago.
22
We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ.
And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.
23
For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious
standard.
24
Yet God, in His grace, freely makes us right in His sight. He did
this through Christ Jesus when He freed us from the penalty for our
sins.
Romans
4:4-8 NLT
4
When people work, their wages are not a gift, but something they have
earned.
5
But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work,
but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners.
6
David also spoke of this when he described the happiness of those who
are declared righteous without working for it:
7
“Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven whose sins
are put out of sight.
8
Yes, what joy for those whose record The Lord has cleared of sin.”
Romans
8:3 NLT
The
law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our
sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent His own
Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God
declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving His Son as a
Sacrifice for our sins.
Romans
9:16 NLT
So
it is God who decides to show mercy. We can neither choose it nor
work for it.
Romans
11:6 NLT
And
since it is through God’s kindness, then it is not by their good
works. For in that case, God’s grace would not be what it
really is—free and undeserved.
I
Corinthians 6:11 NLT
Some
of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made
holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of The Lord
Jesus Christ and by The Spirit Of Our God.
Galatians
2:16,21 NLT
16
Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus
Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus,
so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in
Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be
made right with God by obeying the law.”[
21 I
do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the
law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ
to die.
Galatians
3:10-12 NLT
10
But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under
His curse, for the Scriptures say, “Cursed is everyone who does not
observe and obey all the commands that are written in God’s Book of
the Law.”
11
So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to
keep the law. For the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a
righteous person has life.”
12
This way of faith is very different from the way of law, which says,
“It is through obeying the law that a person has life.”
Galatians
4:9-11 NLT
9 So
now that you know God (or should I say, now that God knows you), why
do you want to go back again and become slaves once more to the weak
and useless spiritual principles of this world?
10
You are trying to earn favor with God by observing certain days or
months or seasons or years.
11 I
fear for you. Perhaps all my hard work with you was for nothing.
12
Dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to live as I do in
freedom from these things, for I have become like you Gentiles—free
from those laws.
Galatians
5:2,4,6 NLT
2
Listen! I, Paul, tell you this: If you are counting on circumcision
to make you right with God, then Christ will be of no benefit to you.
4
For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by
keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen
away from God’s grace.
6
For when we place our faith in Christ Jesus, there is no benefit in
being circumcised or being uncircumcised. What is important is faith
expressing itself in love.
Galatians
6:15 NLT
It
doesn’t matter whether we have been circumcised or not. What counts
is whether we have been transformed into a new creation.
Ephesians
2:8,9 KJV
8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is The Gift Of God:
9
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Philippians
3:3-9 NLT
3
For we who worship by The Spirit Of God are the ones who are truly
circumcised. We rely on what Christ Jesus has done for us. We
put no confidence in human effort,
4
though I could have confidence in my own effort if anyone could.
Indeed, if others have reason for confidence in their own efforts, I
have even more!
5 I
was circumcised when I was eight days old. I am a pure-blooded
citizen of Israel and a member of the tribe of Benjamin—a real
Hebrew if there ever was one! I was a member of the Pharisees, who
demand the strictest obedience to the Jewish law.
6 I
was so zealous that I harshly persecuted the church. And as for
righteousness, I obeyed the law without fault.
7 I
once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them
worthless because of what Christ has done.
8
Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite
value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For His sake I have discarded
everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain
Christ
9
and become one with Him. I no longer count on my own righteousness
through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith
in Christ. For God’s way of making us right with Himself depends on
faith.
Colossians
2:20,21 KJV
20 I
am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ
liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by
the faith of The Son Of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.
21 I
do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by
the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
II
Timothy 1:9 KJV
Who
hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to
our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was
given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
Titus
3:4,5 NLT
4
But—When God our Savior revealed His kindness and love,
5 He
saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but
because of His mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new
birth and new life through The Holy Spirit.
I
John 1:5-10 KJV
5
This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto
you, that God is Light, and in Him is no darkness at all.
6 If
we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we
lie, and do not The Truth:
7
But if we walk in The Light, as He is in The Light, we have
fellowship one with another, and The Blood Of Jesus Christ His Son
cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If
we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and
The
Truth is not in us.
9 If
we confess our sins, He is Faithful and Just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10
If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word
is not in us.
Just
As I Am
Just as I am, without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me,
And that Thou bidst me come to Thee,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot,
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt,
Fightings and fears within, without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
Sight, riches, healing of the mind,
Yea, all I need in Thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, Thy love unknown
Hath broken every barrier down;
Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Prayer:
Psalm 130:7 KJV
"...hope in The Lord: for with
The Lord there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption.
Isaiah 1:18 KJV
Come now, and let us reason
together, saith The Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall
be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be
as wool.
Father In heaven:
I am a sinner, I am sorry for all my sins. I ask for your
forgiveness. I believe The Lord Jesus, died on my behalf, and that He
rose up from the dead. Oh Lord, I ask you to come into my heart and
life. I want to live for you. In Jesus name I pray.
