Christianity is not a religion established on fear, but on The Lord Jesus Christ, God's Son.

II Timothy 1:7 KJV

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Psalm 91:1-16 KJV

If we were ridding down a country road at 60 miles an hour, and we see a stop sign ahead, our first thought is that we must come to a stop. We know that there is more than likely cross traffic ahead, and that we must stop to yield to them, not to do so, means and accident, and possible death. Is the travel system, then evil, because it has laws, of course not.

God is not only to be feared for His judgments, but also because of who He is.

Is fear the main course of driving, of course not, it is the joy of the open road and all the joy it brings.

Is Christianity, a system only of fear and dread, of course not, it is the joy and rejoicing of knowing
