Skeptics

Bible Questions Answered:
“...I don't believe there is any god, certainly no one you can talk to...”
Ted/ Belfast, Northern Ireland United Kingdom

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

Skeptic:
A person who questions or doubts something (such as a claim or statement) : a person who often questions or doubts things
(Merriam-Webster)

Skeptic:
Having an attitude of doubt: Denying or questioning the tenets of a religion:
(Dictionary.Com)

Agnostic:
A person who does not have a definite belief about whether God exists or not
(Merriam-Webster)

Agnostic:
A person who holds that the existence of the ultimate cause, as God, and the essential nature o4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
(Dictionary.Com)

Jesus faced many a skeptic, who perhaps called Old Testament stories, fairy tales, and not reality, but Jesus had a message for the unbelieving.

Matthew 12:38-40 KJV
38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
39 But He answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall
The Son Of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Jesus believed in the occurrences of The Old Testament, and He would not give unbelievers, who are never satisfied, any other signs!

The Word Speaks Of Unbelievers Who Reject A Personal Loving God....

I Corinthians 2:14 KJV
But the natural man receiveth not the things of The Spirit Of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

II Thessalonians 2:10-12 KJV
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not
the love of The Truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not The Truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

II Corinthians 4:3,4 KJV
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest
The Light Of The Glorious Gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Those Who Reject God's Word:

Psalm 119:89 KJV
For ever, O Lord, thy Word is settled in heaven.

Isaiah 40:8 KJV
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but The Word of our God shall stand for ever.

Matthew 5:18 KJVFor verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass
from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Matthew 24:35 KJV
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.

John 10:35 KJV
"...the scripture cannot be broken;

John 8:47 KJV
He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

John 14:24 KJV
He that loveth Me not keepeth not My sayings: and The Word which ye hear is not Mine, but
The Father's which sent Me.

I Peter 1:25 KJV
But The Word Of The Lord endureth for ever. And this is The Word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

For Those Who Deny The Very Existence Of The Living God...

Psalm 10:4 KJV
The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

Psalm 14:1 KJV
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God..."

Psalm 19:1,2 KJV
1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handy work.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

Psalm 53:1 NLT
Only fools say in their hearts,“There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil;
not one of them does good!

Matthew 22:32 KJV
I am The God Of Abraham, and The God Of Isaac, and The God Of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

For Those Who Deny Christ:

Isaiah 7:14 KJV
Therefore The Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear A Son,
and shall call His name Immanuel.

Isaiah 9:6 KJV
For unto us A Child is born, unto us A Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder:
and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father,
The Prince Of Peace.

Isaiah 44:6 KJV
Thus saith The Lord The King Of Israel, and His Redeemer The Lord Of Hosts; I am The First,
and I am The Last; and beside Me there is no God.

Isaiah 63:16 NLT
Surely you are still our Father! Even if Abraham and Jacob would disown us, Lord, you would
still be our Father. You are our Redeemer from ages past.

Hosea 13:4 KJV
Yet I am The Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no God but Me: for there
is no Savior beside Me.

Micah 5:2 KJV
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee
shall He come forth unto Me that is to be Ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old,
from everlasting.

Matthew 1:23 KJV
Behold, a virgin shall be with Child, and shall bring forth A Son, and they shall call His name
Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God With Us.

Matthew 28:19 KJV
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of The Father, and of The Son,
and of The Holy Ghost:

Mark 14:61,62 KJV
61 But He held His peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked Him, and said unto Him, Art thou The Christ, The Son Of The Blessed?
62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see The Son Of Man sitting on The Right Hand Of Power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

John 1:1,2 KJV
1 In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.

John 1:18 NLT
No one has ever seen God. But The Unique One, who is Himself God, is near to The Father’s heart.
He has revealed God to us.

John 5:17,18 KJV
17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill Him, because He not only had broken the Sabbath,
but said also that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.

John 10:30,38 KJV
30 I and My Father are one.
38 "... the Father is in Me, and I in Him.

John 14:10,11 KJV
10 Believest thou not that I am in The Father, and The Father in Me? the words that I speak unto
you I speak not of Myself: but The Father that dwelleth in Me, He doeth the works.
11 Believe Me that I am in The Father, and The Father in Me..."

John 17:11,22 KJV
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father,
keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given Me, that they may be one, as we are.
22 And the glory which thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

John 20:28 KJV
And Thomas answered and said unto Him, My Lord and my God.

Romans 9:5 NLT
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are their ancestors, and Christ Himself was an Israelite as far as His
human nature is concerned. And He is God, the one who rules over everything and is worthy of
eternal praise! Amen.

II Corinthians 4:3,4 KJV
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest The Light
of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is The Image Of God, should shine unto them.

Philippians 2:5-11 NLT
5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
6 Though He was God, He did not think of equality with God as something to cling to.
7 Instead, He gave up His divine privileges; He took the humble position of a slave and was born
as a human being. When He appeared in human form,
8 He humbled Himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.
9 Therefore, God elevated Him to the place of highest honor and gave Him the name above all other
names,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God The Father.

Colossians 1:19 KJV
For it pleased The Father that in Him should all fullness dwell;

Colossians 2:9 KJV
For in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

I Timothy 2:5 KJV
For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, The Man Christ Jesus;

Titus 2:13 KJV
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of The Great God and our
Savior Jesus Christ;

Hebrews 1:1-3,8 KJV
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things,
by whom also He made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all
things by The Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right
hand of The Majesty On High:
8 But unto The Son He (God The Father) saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a scepter
of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

I John 2:22 KJV
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is The Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth The Father
and The Son.

I John 5:7,20 KJV
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, The Father, The Word, and The Holy Ghost: and
these three are one.
20 And we know that The Son Of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may
know Him that is True, and we are in Him that is True, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is
The True God, and eternal life.

Jude 1:25 KJV
To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Revelation 1:8 KJV
I am Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and The Ending, saith The Lord, which is, and which was,
and which is to come, The Almighty.

Revelation 19:1 KJV
And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation,
and glory, and honor, and power, unto The Lord our God:

Skeptics and Christ rejectors, will not be going to heaven, this they would gladly boast themselves, but to not go there is to be forever judged in God's eternal wrath, a terrible place to be!

Hebrews 4:7 KJV
Again, He limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts.

Acts 2:21 KJV
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of The Lord shall be saved.

John 3:16,17 KJV
16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting Life.
17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

Bible Lesson: Titles Of The Church: Church Title: Body Of Christ.

Bible Lesson: Titles Of The Church:

Church Title: Body Of Christ.

Bible Text:

Romans 12:4,5 NLT
4 Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function,
5 so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.

I Corinthians 10:17 KJV
"... we are one body.

I Corinthians 12:12,27 KJV
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

Ephesians 1:22,23 NLT
22 God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made Him head over all things for the benefit of the church.
23 And the church is His body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with Himself.

Ephesians 4:15,16 NLT
15 "...We will speak The Truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is The Head of His body, the church.
16 He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

Ephesians 5:23,29,30 NLT
23 "...Christ is The Head Of The church. He is The Savior of His Body, The Church.
29 "...Christ cares for the church.
30 And we are members of His body.

Colossians 1:18.24 ERV
18 He is The Head Of The Body, which is the church. He is The Beginning of everything else.
And He is The First among all who will be raised from death. So in everything He is most important.
24 I am happy in my sufferings for you. There is much that Christ must still suffer. And I gladly accept my part of those sufferings in my body for the good of His body, the church.

Colossians 2:19 KJV
"...Christ, The Head Of The Body. For He holds the whole body together with its joints and ligaments, and it grows as God nourishes it.

The Body Of Christ:

I Corinthians 12:12-31 NLT (One Body with Many Parts)
12 The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with
the body of Christ.
13 Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit.
14 Yes, the body has many different parts, not just one part.

15 If the foot says, “I am not a part of the body because I am not a hand,” that does not make it any less a part of the body.

16 And if the ear says, “I am not part of the body because I am not an eye,” would that make it any less a part of the body?

17 If the whole body were an eye, how would you hear? Or if your whole body were an ear, how would you smell anything?

18 But our bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where H e wants it.
19 How strange a body would be if it had only one part!
20 Yes, there are many parts, but only one body.
21 The eye can never say to the hand, “I don’t need you.” The head can’t say to the feet, “I don’t need you.”
22 In fact, some parts of the body that seem weakest and least important are actually the most necessary.
23 And the parts we regard as less honorable are those we clothe with the greatest care. So we carefully protect those parts that should not be seen,
24 while the more honorable parts do not require this special care. So God has put the body together such that extra honor and care are given to those parts that have less dignity.
25 This makes for harmony among the members, so that all the members care for each other.
26 If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad.

27 All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.
28 Here are some of the parts God has appointed for the church:

first are apostles,
second are prophets,
third are teachers,
then those who do miracles,
those who have the gift of healing,
those who can help others,
those who have the gift of leadership,
those who speak in unknown languages.

29 Are we all apostles? Are we all prophets? Are we all teachers? Do we all have the power to do miracles?
30 Do we all have the gift of healing? Do we all have the ability to speak in unknown languages? Do we all have the ability to interpret unknown languages? Of course not!
31 So you should earnestly desire the most helpful gifts. But now let me show you a way of life that is best of all. (I Corinthians 13:1-13- the LOVE chapter.)

John 13:34,35 KJV
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Ephesians 4:1-16 NLT (Unity in the Body)
1 Therefore I, a prisoner for serving The Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God.
2 Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.
3 Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.
4 For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.
5 There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 one God and Father of all,who is over all, in all, and living through all.
7 However, He has given each one of us a special gift through the generosity of Christ.
8 That is why the Scriptures say,“When He ascended to the heights, He led a crowd of captives and gave gifts to His people.”
9 Notice that it says “He ascended.” This clearly means that Christ also descended to our lowly world.
10 And the same One who descended is the One who ascended higher than all the heavens, so that He might fill the entire universe with Himself.
11 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers.
12 Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ.
13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in The Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
14 Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like The Truth.
15 Instead, we will speak The Truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of His body, the church.
16 He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

Dear Christian friend, we are a part of the body of Christ, and have been given spiritual gifts to edify His body, the church.

I Corinthians 12:7 NLT
A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other

Ephesians 4:7,8 KJV
7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of The Gift Of Christ.
8 Wherefore He saith, When He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

Now, how are we to exercise our gifts in the church, let's ask the Apostle Paul.

Romans 12:4-8 NLT
4 Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function,
5 so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.
6 In His grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you.
7 If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well.
8 If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.

I Corinthians 1:10 NLT
I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.

I Corinthians 12:25 KJV
This makes for harmony among the members, so that all the members care for each other.
I Corinthians 14:40 KJV
Let all things be done decently and in order.

I Corinthians 14:33 KJV
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

I Corinthians 14:32 KJV
And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

If we but follow the Apostles guidelines, our church will be a place of peace and blessings, without which will only result in chaos and anarchy.

Ephesians 4:2 NLT
Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each others faults because of your love.

Revelation 1:13 KJV
And in the midst of the seven candlesticks (Lamp stands) one like unto The Son Of Man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

Revelation 1:20 KJV
The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in My right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels (Messengers) of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Revelation 2:1 KJV
"...These things saith He that holdeth the seven stars in His right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks

Dear ones, our Lord, walks among us, let us be careful, no matter what we do, to do all to His praise and glory!

II Corinthians 4:15 NLT
All of this is for your benefit. And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory.

We know that concerning “Salvation,” it is a finished work of Christ, and that man can not add anything.

Rock Of Ages
Nothing in my hand I bring,
Simply to the cross I cling;

Augustus M. Toplady, 1776

We cannot save ourselves, neither can we successfully live for Him, without His help!

Behold, a virgin shall be with Child, and shall bring forth A Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Matthew 28:19 KJV
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of The Father, and of The Son, and of The Holy Ghost:

John 1:1,2 KJV
1 In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.

John 1:18 NLT
No one has ever seen God. But The Unique One, who is Himself God, is near to The Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

John 5:17,18 KJV
17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill Him, because He not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.

John 10:30,38 KJV

38 "... the Father is in Me, and I in Him.

John 14:10,11 KJV

11 Believe Me that I am in The Father, and The Father in Me..."

John 17:11,22 KJV
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given Me, that they may be one, as we are.

Romans 9:5 NLT
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are their ancestors, and Christ Himself was an Israelite as far as His human nature is concerned. And He is God, the one who rules over everything and is worthy of eternal praise! Amen.

II Corinthians 4:3,4 KJV
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest The Light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is The Image Of God, should shine unto them.

Philippians 2:5-11 NLT
5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
6 Though He was God, He did not think of equality with God as something to cling to.
7 Instead, He gave up His divine privileges; He took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When He appeared in human form,
8 He humbled Himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.
9 Therefore, God elevated Him to the place of highest honor and gave Him the name above all other names,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God The Father.

Hebrews 1:1-3,8 KJV
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by The Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of The Majesty On High:
8 But unto The Son He (God The Father) saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom.

I John 5:7,20 KJV
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, The Father, The Word, and The Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
20 And we know that The Son Of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is True, and we are in Him that is True, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is The True God, and eternal life.

Bible Lesson: Titles Of The Church: Church Title: Asseimbly Of The Upright.

Bible Lesson: Titles Of The Church:

Church Title: Assembly Of The Upright.

Bible Text:

Psalm 111:1 KJV
Praise ye The Lord. I will praise The Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright*, and in the congregation.

*Upright-Hebrew: Yashar (Yaw-shawr): Straight, just, right.

Upright: Honest and just; honorable.
(New World Dictionary)

Psalm 111:1 International Standard Version
Hallelujah! I will give thanks to the LORD with all of my heart in the assembled congregation of the upright. (Sound like you in church?)

Psalm 111:1 AMP
Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) I will give thanks to The Lord with all my heart, In the company of the upright and in the congregation.

Psalm 111:1 ESV
Praise The Lord! I will give thanks to The Lord with my whole heart, in the company of the upright, in the congregation.

Psalm 111:1 GNT
Praise The Lord! With all my heart I will thank The Lord in the assembly of His people.

You can tell when you have arrived at a church that is of God, because as the Psalmist states, it will be a house of praise to The Lord!

What is your church like, is there time dedicated, for members, to praise The Lord?

Psalm 111:1 ISV
Hallelujah! I will give thanks to The Lord with all of my heart in the assembled congregation of the upright.

What kind of church would say “Hallelujah,” and give thanks to The Lord, why its the congregation of the “upright.”

A congregation of people that are not “right,” with The Lord, do not give thanks or worship
The Lord!

But they can get it right!

II Chronicles 7:14 KJV
If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

In “ the assembly of the upright,” is the very presence of The Lord!

Matthew 18:20 KJV
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them.

Luke 24:15,32 KJV
15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus Himself drew near, and went with them.
32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while He talked with us by the way, and while He opened to us the scriptures?

Acts 4:13 KJV
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

I Corinthians 1:9 KJV
God is Faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Hebrews 13:5 KJV
"... for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

I John 1:3 KJV
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with The Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.

Revelation 3:20 KJV
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.

Called to be saints, we must be careful to lead a life that is pleasing to The Lord, or we will not have His fellowship.

Psalm 66:18 KJV
If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear me:

Psalm 19:14 KJV
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my Strength, and my Redeemer.

Rewards Of The Upright:

Psalm 7:10 KJV
My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.

Psalm 32:11 KJV
Be glad in The Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

Psalm 37:37 KJV
Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

Psalm 64:10 KJV
The righteous shall be glad in The Lord, and shall trust in Him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.

Psalm 97:11 KJV
Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

Psalm 112:4 KJV
Unto the upright there ariseth Light in the darkness: He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

Proverbs 2:7,21 KJV
7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: He is a buckler (Shield) to them that walk uprightly.
21 For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.

Proverbs 10:9 KJV
He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known (exposed).

Proverbs 14:11 KJV
The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish.

Proverbs 28:6 KJV
Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.

Dear Christian friend, we are called to be an “ assembly of the upright.”
This is the time, and this time only, we have to prove our thanksgiving and love for The Lord, by how we live our lives.
May we live “upright,”lives bringing praise and honor to The King of kings and Lord of lords!
Just one day, in heaven, with tears, we will wish we had done more

Unpardonable Sin

Bible Questions Answered:
“...my friend says she is worried because she thinks she has sins that cannot be forgiven....”

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

Mark 3:20-30 KJV
20 And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
21 And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.

Psalm 69:8,9 KJV
8 I am become a stranger unto My brethren, and
an alien unto My mother's children.
9 For the zeal of thine house hath eaten Me up;
and the reproaches of them that reproached thee
are fallen upon Me.

22 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth He out devils.
23 And He called them unto Him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?
24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
26 And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
27 No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.
28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
29 But he that shall blaspheme against The Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.
30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

Our Lord, plainly tells us here that there is but one “unpardonable sin,” and that is
when one reviles, rejects, vilifies, defames and, slanders God's Holy Spirit, in an determined and abusive manner.

Homily:
Often a ship with passengers, comes across a situation, where for whatever reason, someone has fallen overboard, and whose life is in peril.

Quickly a life preserver is thrown overboard, hoping the lost one will grab on to it and be pulled to the place of security.

What a picture it would be, if such a one would indeed catch the preserver, but then, just when he is being pulled to the boat, gets out a knife, and begins to cut the cord that is pulling him to safety.

Would a person do that, only if he had a death wish.
But that is exactly what someone is doing that reviles God The Holy Spirit!
The Holy Spirit is the one who calls a person to repentance, He convicts of sin.

John 16:7-8 NLT
7 But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, The Advocate (God The Holy Spirit) won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send Him to you.
8 And when He comes, He will convict the world of its sin..."

When a person reviles, God's Spirit, The Word Of God, the call to repentance, The Savior, he is cutting the life line of The Holy Spirit, to his life.

Why is rejecting The Lord, or the work of His Holy Spirit, a unforgivable sin? It is unforgivable, because how can a person be saved, if his will is to constantly deny and reject, The Lord and His Spirit?

How can a person be saved if he constantly refuses a life line to safety, answer, he cannot be saved.
It is the person, himself, that makes it an unforgivable sin.

All those In hell, have committed the unpardonable sin, that is, they have literally demanded to go there. No, it has never been Gods choice for them, but a decision, they have decided themselves, and thus their eternal anguish.

II Peter 3:9 KJV
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The person who has relentlessly cut cord after cord in The Holy Spirit's life line to The Savior, and salvation, till it is no more, will have no desire to be saved, for The Spirit Of God can no longer call him.

If a person on the other hand is worried that they might have rejected The Lord one too many times, there is yet hope. For to be worried over salvation is to have yet the conviction of The Holy Spirit.

Hebrews 3:15 KJV
While it is said, To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts..."

Genesis 6:3 KJV
And The Lord said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man..."

Acts 2:21 KJV
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Dear friend, if this story has been about you, do not delay to call upon The Lord in repentance and faith, asking Him, to be your Savior and Lord.

John 6:37 KJV
All that The Father giveth Me shall come to Me; and him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out.

Cleanliness - Spiritual

Bible Questions Answered:
“...even the religious seems corrupt, by filthy greed...”
Rafaela/ State of Sao Paulo, Brazil South America

Bible Answer:

Bible Text:

Ezekiel 22:26 KJV
Her priests have violated My law, and have profaned Mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between
the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

I Peter 4:17 KJV
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

When so called religious leaders deny the virgin birth, miraculous incarnation, blood of Christ, atonement for sins, holy living, etc. etc.
Where, are the masses to find any vestiges of holiness or morality?

And what of Christian people? We think we're OK, we do the best we can certainly we must be clean!
But, hear of the prophet of God …

Isaiah 6:5 KJV
Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips:.....”

Well, that's OK for you Isaiah, but we're doing good.
What made Isaiah confess such guilt, wasn't he a man of god?
Yes!
Something had happened to Isaiah, that needs to happen to us all!

Isaiah 6:5 KJV
Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen The King, The Lord Of Hosts.”

Every one seems devout, until.....they have seen The King, The Lord Of Hosts.

Matthew 17:1,2,5,6 KJV
1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
2 And was transfigured before them: and His face did shine as the sun, and His raiment was white as the light.
5 "...a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye Him.
6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.

John 18:4-6 KJV
4 Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon Him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?
5 They answered Him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am He. And Judas also, which betrayed Him, stood with them.
6 As soon then as He had said unto them, I am He, they went backward, and fell to the ground.

Revelation 1:12-17 KJV
12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto The Son Of Man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
14 His head and His hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and His eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And His feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and His voice as the sound of many waters.
16 And He had in His right hand seven stars: and out of His mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and His countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead..."

I Corinthians 10:12 KJV
Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

I Thessalonians 4:7 KJV
For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

1 Peter 1:16 KJV
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Isaiah 52:11 KJV
Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her;
be ye clean, that bear the vessels of The Lord.

II Corinthians 6:17 KJV
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith The Lord, and touch not
the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

God Calls His People To Cleanliness:

Isaiah 1:16 KJV
Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before Mine eyes; cease to do evil;

Jeremiah 4:14 KJV
O Jerusalem (God's people), wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?

Ezekiel 36:29 KJV
I will also save you from all your uncleannesses..."

Acts 22:16 KJV
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

II Corinthians 7:1 KJV
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

II Timothy 2:19-21 KJV
19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are His. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor.
21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for The master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

James 4:8 KJV
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

I John 3:2,3 KJV
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure.

Dear Christian friend, may we live consecrated lives, in answer to our saintly calling.
