Fear Of Man
Bible Questions Answered:
“...so I'd like to witness, but I am
afraid of approaching other people...”

Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
The
Word Regarding Fear:
Proverbs 29:20 KJV
The fear of man bringeth a
snare: but whoso putteth his trust in The Lord shall be safe.
Psalm
27:1,3,5,14 KJV
1 The Lord is my Light and my
Salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the Strength of my
life; of whom shall I be afraid?
3 Though an host should encamp
against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise
against me, in this will I be confident.
5 For in the time of trouble He
shall hide me in His pavilion: in the secret of His tabernacle shall
He hide me; He shall set me up upon A Rock (That
Rock, is The Lord).
14 Wait on The Lord: be of good
courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on The
Lord.
Psalm 34:4,7 KJV
4 I sought The Lord, and He heard
me, and delivered me from all my fears.
7 The Angel Of The Lord encampeth
round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them.
Psalm 34:9 KJV
O fear The Lord, ye His saints: for
there is no want to them that fear Him.
Psalm 46:1 KJV
God is our refuge and strength,
always ready to help in times of trouble.
Psalm 55:22 KJV
Cast thy burden upon The Lord, and
He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer (permit) the righteous
to be moved.
Psalm
56:4 KJV
In God I will praise His Word, in
God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
Psalm
118:6 KJV
The Lord is on my side; I will not
fear: what can man do unto me?
Hebrews 13:6 KJV
So that we may boldly say, The Lord
is my Helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Romans 8:15 KJV
For ye have not received the spirit
of bondage again to fear; but ye have received The Spirit Of
Adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
II Timothy 1:7
KJV
For God hath not given us the spirit
of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
I John 4:18 KJV
There is no fear in love; but
perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that
feareth is not made perfect in love.
Some time back, many people said, that they just couldn't witness.
And they couldn't because they had not been adequately equipped for
the task.
To be good at anything one must work at it, so some churches started
what was called “Role Playing- Witnessing” One individual would
be the witness (wishing to share his faith), and the other would be
one, not knowing The Lord. Then their roles were reversed, the one
who needed The Lord, became the witness, and the other who had been
the witness, was then the one who need to hear The Truth.
This worked very well, and many Christian groups still use it.
Another witnessing strategy, is that of group witnessing, and some
have used musical talents, going downtown on the mall and playing
their guitar, saxophone etc, for The Lord. Conversations are started,
and people are won for The Lord. Let The Lord and your imagination be
your guide.
If a couple little kids, passing out free lemon aid and gospel
tracts, can work for The Lord, what can we do?
Psalm 27:14 KJV
Wait on The Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen
thine heart: wait, I say, on The Lord.
Psalm 31:24 KJV
Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in The Lord.
Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in The Lord.
Homily:
My Godly grandfather (Charles G. Holden) was a worker for Soo Line
Railroad, and worked in their offices downtown Minneapolis
(accountant) for some 46 years. But even though that was true, as a
Christian, he had the time for many years to go witnessing with
friends of his from Buffalo, Minnesota. Every week they would gather
together to do something called “street-meetings.” This was back
in the 50's.
He played the mandolin, and others too had instruments. They would
pick a spot downtown, (street corner, etc.) and start playing and
singing the wonderful hymns of the church, followed by a gospel
message, and handing out tracts, and he was a Lutheran.
If it wasn't doing that it was gospel missions, and at that time, the
city was loaded with them. Often he would take me and my sister to
help him at the mission, setting us on a chair (5,6 years old) and
having us read or sing a song, no one ate, tell a gospel message was
given.
Today, if you would try a street meeting in the U.S. You'd probably
end up in jail, if you did not first receive some kind of city or
police permit to do such a thing. My how times have changed.
Friend, if you are determined to serve The Lord, there is a place for
you, and you may do it with a friend, but be faithful to our Precious
Lord.
John 4:35 KJV
Say not ye,
There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say
unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are
white already to harvest.
Matthew 28:18-20
KJV
18 And Jesus
came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in
heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye
therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of The
Father, and of The Son, and of The Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching
them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo,
I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Our
Lord With Us:
Deuteronomy 31:8
KJV
And The LORD,
He it is that doth go before thee; He will be with thee, He will not
fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
Nehemiah 8:10
KJV
"... the
joy of The LORD is your strength."
Psalm 23:1-6 KJV
1 The LORD is
my Shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me
to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth
my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's
sake.
4 Yea, though I
walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no
evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort
me.
5 Thou
preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou
anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely
goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I
will dwell in the house of
The LORD for
ever.
Psalm 27:1 KJV
The LORD is my
Light and my Salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the Strength
of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 34:4 KJV
I sought The
LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Psalm 91:1-16
KJV
1 He that
dwelleth in the secret place of The Most High shall abide under the
shadow of The Almighty.
2 I will say of
The LORD, He is my Refuge and my Fortress: my God; in Him will I
trust.
3 Surely He
shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome
pestilence.
4 He shall
cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust:
His Truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt
not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth
by day;
6 Nor for the
pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that
wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand
shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it
shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with
thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou
hast made The LORD, which is my Refuge, even The Most High, thy
Habitation;
10 There shall
no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For He shall
give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall
bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt
tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt
thou trample under
feet.
14 Because he
hath set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set
him on high, because he hath known My name.
15 He shall
call upon Me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I
will deliver him, and honor him.
16 With long
life will I satisfy him, and shew him My salvation.

1 But now thus
saith The LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed thee, O
Israel (God's people), Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have
called thee by thy name; thou art Mine.
2 When thou
passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the
rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the
fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon
thee.
3 For I am The
LORD thy God, The Holy One Of Israel, thy Savior:

Bible Lesson: Prophecies Made By The Lord Jesus: A Second Draught Of Fishes.
Bible Lesson: Prophecies Made By The
Lord Jesus: A Second Draught Of Fishes.
Bible Text: The Prophecy.
John 21:1-6 KJV
1 After these things Jesus shewed
Himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this
wise shewed He Himself.
2 There were together Simon Peter, and
Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons
of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.
3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a
fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth,
and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught
nothing.
4 But when the morning was now come,
Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was
Jesus.
5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children,
have ye any meat? They answered Him, No.
6 And He said unto them, Cast the net
on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find..."
Bible Text: The Fulfillment:
John 21:6 KJV
"... They cast therefore, and
now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
Jesus had instructed His disciples
that He would see them, after His resurrection, at a certain place in
Galilee.
Matthew 26;32 KJV
But after I am risen again, I will
go before you into Galilee.
Matthew 28:7 KJV
And go quickly, and tell His
disciples that He is risen from the dead; and, behold, He goeth
before you into Galilee; there shall ye see Him: lo, I have told you.
Mark 16:7 KJV
But go your way, tell His disciples
and Peter that He goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see
Him, as He said unto you.
And so gathered, Simon Peter, Thomas
Didymus, Nathanael of Cana, James and John (the sons of Zebedee), and
two other disciples (not named).
Standing on the shore of Galilee,
seeing the fishing boats casting their nets...
John 21:3 KJV
Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a
fishing. They say unto Him, We also go with thee. They went forth,
and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught
nothing.
Friend, where does
life find you today, joyless, powerless, victory-less?
And many, are
living in this place today, so don't think you are some kind of
special exception to success.
What's the answer,
even the disciples where in utter defeat.
The answer is found
in the words of our Lord....
John 15:5 KJV
I am The Vine, ye are the branches:
He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much
fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing.
Wanting to be
successful, we rush off here and there, put all our best efforts into
what we do, and then sadly realize that all is to no avail, we are
sinking in failure and loss.
What has happened,
good intentioned or not, we have gone on – without The Lord!
When He plainly
told us “ for without Me ye can do nothing.”
How broken up,
these professional fishermen were, this was their field of
expertise, and shamefully, their nets, were empty.
Romans 8:5-8 KJV
5 For they that
are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that
are after The Spirit the things of The Spirit.
6 For to be
carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and
peace.
7 Because the
carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law
of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they
that are in the flesh cannot please God.
John 21:4,5 KJV
4 But when the morning was now come,
Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was
Jesus.
5 Then Jesus saith unto them,
Children, have ye any meat? They answered Him, No.
Just as He had
promised, Jesus met His disciples, “but the disciples knew not
that it was Jesus.”
No, they replied to
The Man, their nets were wet, but empty.
John 21:6-14 KJV
6 And He said unto them, Cast the
net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast
therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of
fishes.
7 Therefore that disciple (John)
whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is The Lord. Now when Simon
Peter heard that it was The Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him,
(for he was naked, only a loin
cloth) and did cast himself into the sea.
8 And the other disciples came in a
little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two
hundred cubits - one hundred
yards,) dragging the net with fishes.
9 As soon then as they were come to
land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and
bread.
10 Jesus saith unto them, Bring of
the fish which ye have now caught.
11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the
net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and
for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and
dine. And none of the disciples durst ask Him, Who art thou? knowing
that it was The Lord.
13 Jesus then cometh, and taketh
bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.
14 This is now the third time that
Jesus shewed Himself to His disciples, after that He was risen from
the dead.
After the
disciples, fished The Lord's way, 7 strong men, could not lift the
nets full of fish.
And yet, as this
was true, when The Lord ask for some of their fish, we read....
John 21:10,11
KJV
10 Jesus saith unto them, Bring of
the fish which ye have now caught.
11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the
net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three...”
Seven men, could
not lift the net, but now Peter with super human strength, dragged
the net to shore, because his Master has asked for more fish.
Yes of course there
is a lesson here. When we are God's children, led by The Lord, things
thought impossible, will be possible, if we desire to do it for The
Lord!
The Apostle Paul in
Hebrews 11, mentions some of the individuals, who through strong
faith, seemingly did the impossible.
Matthew 19:26
KJV
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto
them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are
possible.
Mark 9:23 KJV
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst
believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
Mark 10:27 KJV
And Jesus looking upon them saith,
With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things
are possible.
Luke 18:27 KJV
And He said, The things which are
impossible with men are possible with God.
Hebrews 13:8 KJV
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and
to day, and for ever.
Can we be someone
guided and blessed, as were our Lord's disciples? Yes!
Our God does not
change, nor His wonderful blessings. When we put our Lord, first,
seeking His guidance, we will know of His provision and blessing, not
just for meat and bread, but for the souls of countless individuals
adrift the dark churning tides of sin and darkness, who are lost.
Matthew 4:19 KJV
"...Follow Me, and I will make
you fishers of men.

Body Of Christ
Bible Questions Answered:
“...our discussion then has been what
makes the Chinese body of Christ, few or many...”

The Small Answer:
Matthew 18:20 KJV
For where two
or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of
them.
The Large
Answer:
I Corinthians 12:12,13 NLT (One Body with Many Parts)
12 The human
body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body.
So it is with the body of Christ.
13 Some of us
are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves,
and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one
body by one Spirit (Baptism
of The Spirit), and we all share the same Spirit.
The Church Of The Lord Jesus Christ, is many groups making up one
body, of which Christ is The Head.
The Family Of
God
I'm so glad I'm a part of the family of God
I've been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His Blood
Joint heirs with Jesus, as we travel this sod
For I'm part of the family, the family of God
Bill Gaither (1970)
Romans 12:4,5
NLT
4 Just as
our bodies have many parts and
each part has a special function,
5 so it is with
Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we
all belong to each other.
I Corinthians 10:16,17 KJV
16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of
The Blood Of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the
communion of The Body Of Christ?
17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all
partakers of that one bread.
I Corinthians
12:14-27 NLT
14 Yes, the
body has many different parts, not just one part.
15 If the foot
says, “I am not a part of the body because I am not a hand,” that
does not make it any less a part of the body.
16 And if the
ear says, “I am not part of the body because I am not an eye,”
would that make it any less a part of the body?
17 If the whole
body were an eye, how would you hear? Or if your whole body were an
ear, how would you smell anything?
18 But our
bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where He wants
it.
19 How strange
a body would be if it had only one part!
20 Yes, there
are many parts, but only one body.
21 The eye can
never say to the hand, “I don’t need you.” The head can’t say
to the feet, “I don’t need you.”
22 In fact,
some parts of the body that seem weakest and least important are
actually the most necessary.
23 And the
parts we regard as less honorable are those we clothe with the
greatest care. So we carefully protect those parts that should not be
seen,
24 while the
more honorable parts do not require this special care. So God has put
the body together such that extra honor and care are given to those
parts that have less dignity.
25 This makes
for harmony among the members, so that all the members care for
each other.
26 If one
part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is
honored, all the parts are glad.
27 All of
you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.
Ephesians
1:22,23 NLT
22 God has put
all things under the authority of Christ and has made Him head over
all things for the benefit of the church.
23 And the
church is His body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who
fills all things everywhere with Himself.
Ephesians
4:3-6,15,16 NLT
3 Make every
effort to keep yourselves united in The Spirit, binding yourselves
together with peace.
4 For there is
one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious
hope for the future.
5 There is one
Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 one God and
Father of all, who is over all, in all, and living through all.
15 "...growing
in every way more and more like Christ, who is The Head of His body,
the church.
16 He makes the
whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special
work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is
healthy and growing and full of love.
Ephesians
5:29,30 NLT
29 No one hates
his own body but feeds and cares for it, just as Christ cares for the
church.
30 And we are
members of His body.
Colossians 1:18,24,25 NLT (Apostle Paul)
18 Christ is
also The Head Of The Church, which is His body.
He is The
Beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So He is first in
everything.
24 I am glad
when I suffer for you in my body, for I am participating in the
sufferings of Christ that continue for His body, the church.
25 God has
given me the responsibility of serving His church by proclaiming His
entire message to you.
Colossians 2:19
NLT
"... to
Christ, The Head Of The Body. For He holds the whole body together
with its joints and ligaments, and it grows as God nourishes it.
Colossians 3:15
NLT
And let the
peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of
one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.
There is no such thing as separate and complete, The American Body Of
Christ, or The Chinese Body Of Christ, The Indian Body Of Christ,
etc. etc. All Christians together, everywhere, from around the
world, form His spiritual body, the church. We are not separate
from one another, but joined one to another.
The phrase “The Body Of Christ,” is not plural, but singular.
If you are a Christian, you are a part of something large, if
you are a Christian, you are a part of something more wonderful than
words can tell!
I Corinthians
2:9 KJV
But as it is
written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into
the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that
love Him.
Ephesians
2:19-22 KJV
19 Now
therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow
citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
20 And are
built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ
Himself being The Chief Corner Stone;
21 In whom all
the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in The
Lord:
22 In whom
ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through The
Spirit.

sent Paul and Silas to Berea. When they arrived there, they went to
the Jewish synagogue.

open-minded than those in Thessalonica, and they listened eagerly to
Paul’s message. They searched the Scriptures day after day to
see if Paul and Silas were teaching The Truth.

of The Lamb.” And he added, “These are true words that come from
God.”
10 Then I fell down at his feet to
worship him, but he said, “No, don’t worship me. I
am a servant of God, just like you and your brothers and sisters who
testify about their faith in Jesus. Worship only God..."
Revelation 22:8,9 NLT
8 I, John, am the one who heard and
saw all these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to
worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me.
9 But he said, “No, don’t
worship me. I am a servant of God, just like you and your
brothers the prophets, as well as all who obey what is written in
this book. Worship only God!”
Our God, always
listens for the prayers of His people:
Psalm 18:6 KJV
In my distress I called upon The
Lord, and cried unto my God: He heard my voice out of His temple, and
my cry came before Him, even into His ears.
Psalm 34:15 KJV
The eyes of The Lord are upon the
righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry.
I Peter 3:12 KJV
For the eyes of The Lord are over
the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayers: but the face
of The Lord is against them that do evil.
I Peter 5:7 KJV
Casting all your care upon Him;
for He careth for you.

Bible Lesson: Prophecies Made By The Lord Jesus: Peter To Become A Martyr.
Bible Lesson: Prophecies Made By The
Lord Jesus: Peter To Become A Martyr.
Bible Text: The Prophecy:
John 13:36 KJV
Simon Peter said unto Him, Lord,
whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not
follow Me now; but thou shalt follow Me afterwards.
Bible Text: The Fulfillment:
John 21:18,19 KJV (Jesus)
18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee
(Peter), When thou wast young, thou girdest thyself, and walkedst
whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch
forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither
thou wouldest not.
19 This spake He, signifying by what
death he should glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He saith
unto him, Follow Me.
Third century theologian, Origen,
states that Peter, under Roman Emperor Nero, was crucified around
A.D. 67, 68, and thinking himself unworthy to be crucified as was
Jesus, asked to be crucified, upside down. (Information, “not,”
found in The Bible.)
Isaiah 46:9,10 KJV
9 "... for I am God, and there
is none else; I am God, and there is none like Me,
10 Declaring the end from the
beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done,
saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure:
Jesus stated the
kind of death Peter would have.
As God, He knows
the “end from the beginning,” and His prophecy was true, in
every detail.
This is God's
“Omniscience and Foreknowledge.”

Doth not He see my ways, and count
all my steps?

The Lord directeth his steps.
“Pastor, does
that mean even to martyrdom?”
Psalm 48:14 KJV

ever: He will be our guide even unto death.
Yes, if that is
God's will, it was for His own Son, and all the the disciples except,
John.
I Peter 2:21 KJV
For even hereunto were ye called:
because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that
ye should follow His steps:
Whatever our cross
bearing means, we know one thing....
Romans 8:28 KJV
And we know that
all things work together for good to them that love God, to them
who are the called according to His purpose.
Psalm 73:24 KJV
Thou shalt guide me with thy
counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
Peter's soul is
with The Lord in heaven.
II Corinthians
5:8 KJV
We are confident, I say, and willing
rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with
The Lord.
John 14:1-6 KJV
(Jesus)
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye
believe in God, believe also in Me.
2 In My Father's house are many
mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a
place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place
for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I
am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and The Way ye know.
5 Thomas saith unto Him, Lord, we
know not whither thou goest; and how can we know The Way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am The
Way, The Truth, and The Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by
Me.
Psalm 16:11 KJV
Thou wilt shew me the path of Life:
in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are
pleasures for evermore.
Revelation 2:10
KJV (Jesus)
Fear none of those things which thou
shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison,
that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou
faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

36 For of Him,

Patron Saints
Bible Questions Answered:
“What about Patron Saints?”
Enrico/ Syracuse, Italy
Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
The idea of Patron
Saints designated to be our advocate, guide or protector, is a man
made idea, “not,” found in The Word of God.
Hebrews 12:1 KJV
Wherefore
seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of
witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so
easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set
before us,
Here, the Apostle
Paul, refers to the fact that many, with interest are watching the
affairs of mankind, and that with great interest. They, though
unheard, cheer us on.
Even the angels
watch with keen interest, desiring to understand all that they see.
I Peter 1:12 KJV
Unto whom it
was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister
the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have
preached the gospel unto you with The Holy Ghost sent down from
heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
We do the better, when we find The Truth, not in hand down human
decrees and traditions of men, but in the source of all Truth, The
Word Of God.
Acts 17:10,11
KJV
10 And the
brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea:
who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
11 These were
more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received The Word
with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily,
whether those things were so.
Herein now is what the precious Word Of The Lord says regarding,
advocacy, guidance, and protection.
Advocate:
I Timothy 2:3-6
NLT
3 This is good
and pleases God our Savior,
4 who wants
everyone to be saved and to understand The Truth.
5 For,There is
one God and one Mediator* who can reconcile God and
humanity—
The Man
Christ Jesus.
6 He gave
His life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message
God gave to the world at just the right time.
*Mediator-Greek: Mesites (Mes-ee-tace): A Reconciler Intercessor: mediator.
Hebrews 7:24-26 KJV24 But this Man (Jesus Christ), because He continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.
25 Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing
25 Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing
He ever liveth to make intercession for them.
26 For such an High Priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
26 For such an High Priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
Hebrews 8:1,6
NLT
1 Now of the
things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an High
Priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of The Majesty in
the heavens;
6 But now hath
He obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also He is
The Mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon
better promises.
Hebrews
9:14,15,24 NLT
14 Just think
how much more The Blood Of Christ will purify our consciences from
sinful deeds so that we can worship The Living God. For by the power
of The Eternal Spirit, Christ offered Himself to God as a Perfect
Sacrifice for our sins.
15 That is why
He is the one who Mediates a new covenant between God
and people, so that all who are called can receive the eternal
inheritance God has promised them. For Christ died to set them
free from the penalty of the sins they had committed under that
first covenant.
24 For Christ
did not enter into a holy place made with human hands, which was only
a copy of the true one in heaven. He entered into heaven itself to
appear now before God on our behalf.
Hebrews 12:22-24
NLT
22 "...you
have come to Mount Zion, to the city of The Living God, the heavenly
Jerusalem, and to countless thousands of angels in a joyful
gathering.
23 You have
come to the assembly of God’s firstborn children, whose names are
written in heaven. You have come to God Himself, who is The Judge
over all things. You have come to the spirits of the righteous ones
in heaven who have now been made perfect.
24 You have
come to Jesus, the one who Mediates the new covenant
between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks of
forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of
Abel.
I John 2:1,2 NLT
1 My dear
children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if
anyone does sin, we have an Advocate who pleads our case before
The Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous.
2 He Himself
is The Sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins
but the sins of all the world.

Teach me
to do thy will; for thou art my God: Thy Spirit is good;
lead me into the land of uprightness.

A man's heart
deviseth his way: but The Lord directeth his steps.
Proverbs 20:24
NLT
The Lord
directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along
the way?
Isaiah 42:16 KJV
And I
will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I
will lead them in paths that they have not known: I
will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight.
These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.
John 16:13 KJV
Howbeit when
He, The Spirit Of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all
Truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He
shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.
The
Lord Our Protector:
Exodus 14:14 KJV
The Lord
shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

said, The Lord is my Rock, and my Fortress, and my Deliverer;

to shew Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect
toward Him..."

arm of flesh; but with us is The Lord our God to help us, and
to fight our battles..."
Psalm 5:11,12
KJV
11 But let all
those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for
joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that
love thy name be joyful in thee.
12 For
thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass
him as with a shield.
Psalm 18:2 KJV
The Lord is my Rock, and my
Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will
trust; my buckler (shield), and the horn of my salvation, and my high
tower.
Psalm 34:7 KJV
The Angel Of The Lord
encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them.
Psalm 91:1-4 NLT
1 Those who
live in the shelter of The Most High will find rest in the
shadow of
The Almighty.
2 This I
declare about The Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of
safety; He is my God, and I trust Him.
3 For He
will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.
4 He will
cover you with His feathers. He will shelter you with His wings. His
faithful promises are your armor and protection.
Psalm 125:2 KJV
As the
mountains are round about Jerusalem, so The Lord is round about
His people from henceforth even for ever.
Psalm 144:1,2
NLT
1 Praise
The Lord, who is my Rock. He trains my hands for war and
gives my fingers skill for battle.
2 He is
my loving ally and my fortress, my tower of safety, my rescuer. He is
my shield, and I take refuge in Him.

For I, saith
The Lord, will be unto her (God's people) a wall of fire round
about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

God's Omnipresence
Bible Questions Answered:
“...god is in heaven right?...”
Delantra/ Lebanon, Tennessee U.S.A.
Bible Answer:
God is throughout His creation, there
is no place where God is not.
Bible Texts:
God's
Omniscience (All Knowing.) And His Omnipresence (Everywhere
Existence.)
Deuteronomy 4:39 KJV
(Omnipresence - Moses)
Know therefore this day, and
consider it in thine heart, that the Lord He is God in heaven above,
and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
I Kings 8:27 NKJV
(Omnipresence-Solomon)
But will God indeed dwell on the
earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You.
How much less this temple which I have built!
Job 26:6 KJV (Omniscience.)
Hell is naked before Him, and
destruction hath no covering.
Job 31:4 KJV
(Omniscience/Omnipresence.)
Doth not He see my ways, and count
all my steps?
Job 34:21 KJV (Omniscience/
Omnipresence.)
For His eyes are upon the ways of
man, and He seeth all His goings.
Psalm 139:1-24 KJV (Omnipresence/
Omniscience.)
1 O lord, thou hast searched me, and
known me.
2 Thou knowest my downsitting and
mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
3 Thou compassest my path and my
lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
4 For there is not a word in my
tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.
5 Thou hast beset me behind and
before, and laid thine hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful
for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
7 Whither shall I go from thy
Spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou
art there: if I make my bed in hell (grave),
behold, thou art there.
9 If I take the wings of the
morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10 Even there shall thy hand lead
me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, Surely the darkness
shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from
thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light
are both alike to thee.
13 For thou hast possessed my reins:
thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am
fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my
soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from
thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest
parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance,
yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written,
which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of
them.
17 How precious also are thy
thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they are
more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
19 Surely thou wilt slay the wicked,
O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
20 For they speak against thee
wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.
21 Do not I hate them, O Lord, that
hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
22 I hate them with perfect hatred:
I count them mine enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my
heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked
way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Psalm 147:5 KJV (Omniscience.)
Great is our Lord, and of great
power: His understanding is infinite.
Proverbs 15:3 KJV (Omniscience/
Omnipresence.)
The eyes of the Lord are in every
place, beholding the evil and the good.
Isaiah 46:9,10 KJV
(Omnipresence/Omniscience.)
9 Remember the former things of old:
for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none
like Me,
10 Declaring the end from the
beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done,
saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure:
Isaiah 66:1 KJV (Omnipresence.)
Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is
My throne, and the earth is My footstool: where is the house that ye
build unto Me? and where is the place of My rest?
Jeremiah 23:23,24 KJV
23 Am I a God at hand, saith The
Lord, and not a God afar off?
24 Can any hide himself in secret
places that I shall not see him? saith The Lord. Do not I fill heaven
and earth? saith The Lord.
John 2:24,25 KJV (Omniscience.)
24 But Jesus did not commit Himself
unto them, because He knew all men,
25 And needed not that any should
testify of man: for He knew what was in man.
John 16:30 KJV (Omniscience.)
Now are we sure that thou knowest
all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we
believe that thou camest forth from God.
John 21:17 KJV (Omniscience.)
He saith unto Him the third time,
Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou Me? Peter was grieved because He
said unto him the third time, Lovest thou Me? And he said unto Him,
Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus
saith unto him, Feed My sheep.
Acts 1:24 KJV (Omniscience.)
And they prayed, and said, Thou,
Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two
thou hast chosen,
Acts 17:27 KJV (Omnipresence.)
That they should seek the Lord, if
haply they might feel after Him, and find Him, though He be not far
from every one of us:
Hebrews 4:13 KJV
(Omnipresence/Omniscience.)
Neither is there any creature that
is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened
unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.
I John 3:20 KJV (Omniscience.)
For if our heart condemn us, God is
greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
Friend, this Great God, who sees and
who knows you, also loves you!
His wish is that we be “one,” with
Him, but this cannot happen unless we have been cleansed of our sins,
through the precious blood of His Son, The Lord Jesus Christ.
Habakkuk 1:13 KJV
"Thou art of purer eyes than to
behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity:..."
God made a
way.
II Corinthians 5:21 NLT
For God made
Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we
could be made right with God through Christ.
John 3:15-18 KJV
15 ...whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that
He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should
not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not His Son into the
world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be
saved.
18 He that believeth on Him is not
condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he
hath not believed in the name of The Only Begotten Son of God.
Yes, God is in heaven, but then again,
His presence is everywhere!
Psalm 123:1 KJV
Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O
thou that dwellest in the heavens.
Proverbs 15:3 KJV
The eyes of The Lord are in every
place...”
Do you know Him?
Acts 2:21
KJV
And it shall
come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of The Lord shall
be saved.
