King David gives us the answer in ....
Psalm 32:5 KJV
“I acknowledged my sin unto thee (confess), and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin.”
Ezra, a priest, said who confession should be made to!
Ezra 10:11 KJV “Now therefore make confession unto the LORD God of your fathers, and do His pleasure:...”
The Apostle Peter, if alive today, would do what he did when on earth....
Luke 5:8 KJV “When Simon Peter saw it (the Multitude of fish caught in the nets), he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying (confessing), Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.”
Peter did his confessing ....to the Lord!
I John 1:9 KJV
“If we confess our sins (to the Lord Jesus Christ), He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Who should we confess our sins to? The Lord Jesus Christ.
